it happen on de 1st day of 7th mth.. n i dunno it was de 7th mth..
i finished work at 11pm, n got on de train to cck frm newton, but i overslpt on the north west train and suddenly wake up at bukit batok. no more return train liao as last train to AMK had left.. i can onli resort to taking a cab home at bt batok.
got out of the station n began walkin pass the bus interchange.. den when i reach the shelter tt lead to the bus stop, i suddenly felt tt my legs weigh so heavy tt i cant move them.. seems like i was walkin upslope though the pavement im walkin on was a downslope.. it just felt numb n weak all of a sudden.
right opposite the shelter i was walkin under were a couple burning incense.. it didnt occur to me tt its 7th mth.. well.. i managed to drag my legs all de way out to the main road..
i went out to the road n wave down a cab.. the cab, though with the sign 'TAXI' litted ever so brightly, he dont seems to see me.. he was at the lane i was in.. couldnt have miss me one wad.. im so big size..
anyway.. 5 mins later, i flag down another cab. great. finally this cab know my existence.. i told him my address n he nv muttered anything.
i was too exhausted to care anyway. i sat directly behind him n was playin wif my hp, in case the cabby is a crazy man tt wanna rape me leh.. lol..
den i passby outside dunearn sec.. lots of offerings, burning incense.. i was thinkin, huh? isit 7th mth? den i decided to break the awkward silence by askin de uncle, "Uncle ar, todae is de 1st day of 7th mth huh?'
NO REPLY.
i was thinkin.. hmm maybe i was TOO soft.. i raise my volume, and asked the same qns again.
NO REPLY AGAIN.
i was thinkin, hmmmmm.. maybe he very deaf.. i raise my volume again, and had a exasperated tone in my voice. i asked him, uncle ar, todae 1st day of 7th mth har?
NO REPLY. damn! i was scared sia. i tot. wad de hell.. y he wasnt replyin me..
i decided to think positively, by sayin tt maybe he tot i was tokin in my hp and tokin to an 'uncle' in the hp..
thru out the journey, he nv said anything.. i directed him the place and when my hse is seen, i prepared n got down. i paid him n 'zhao' liao. scared he will say;
"MISS, WRONG NOTES"
