yes its a beautiful country.
are the kiwis friendly or racists like australians?
Haha i took the helicopter up to Fox Glacier early in the morning so not that bad, ya i think the G-Force can make you vomit everything out if you are too full. We did drive up to Mount Cardrona though for skiing but after wearing everything, they tell us wind too strong, the mountain has to be closed, damn haha....
But overall the mountains, valleys, lakes are really God given sceneries. And I am not surprised that you forgot your sickness while you are there. The air is so much fresher and it just makes you more relaxed as a person.

Yes I did, right after MIlford Sound, we went to Queenstown. We tried a few things there except sky diving and bungy jumping hahaha.... i have a bright future, i dun wanna die so early i told my frens.... But Queenstown is really a tourist town... all sorts of nationalities coming in for adventure. But that aside, QUeenstown has wonderful sights. People talk abt Lord of the rings scenes over there, but seriously, I am not a big fan of that, but the sights alone are worth the visit.

REally, a great place for tour!
Before I left for the trip, my mum actually asked me to cancel the trip as I was down with heavy flu for weeks. I refused and I did not regret going ahead with it.
Now I learn something, never eat before the helicopter trip.
Yes, mountains, alps, lakes, valleys , fresh air, wow, like in heaven, contrary to what we have in sg. When I was in Queenstown, the motel I stayed was facing the lake, wow, wow, so breathtaking!
YOu know despite my heavy flu I was completely refreshed when I touched down christchurch it was 4 degree. I believe weather does the magic! hahah.

Haha i dun agree that australians are racists. Some of them are but most of them are friendly to foreigners.
Generally Kiwis I feel are like Australians. They are friendly most of the times but sometimes when you cut them the wrong way, they are pretty direct. For example, we were asking a waitress to take our orders. Obviously she is handling more customers than she could, so she turned around and said, Do you think you could wait a while? With a not very pleasant look on her face. To us, thats rude. To them, thats just them. Even their own Kiwis get it.

Ya generally, u will constantly feel like you are gonna have the flu but u never really get it. Its just the weather, its cold and windy so sometimes your nose cannot take it. The air despite being cold, is FRESH!! How can fresh air make us sick haha

you should said I would appreciate if you could be more polite thanks. thats rude and uncalled for, for a service staff. this means she could not handle stress and is not really service oriented.
she should have said, I am sorry I am really busy, wont take long before I come back to you right. a little tact goes a long way.

haha well i could have, but that wun be them any more. Kiwis and Aussies are generally very in your face. I would be angry if it is just me but they treat the locals the same too so well, different cultures, different expectations. I would not wan to go there and expect to find what I can find in Singapore haha

heheh thanks... lake tekapo is an amazing place. I did not believe that a place can look so amazing until I am actually there.
And that bird is a KEA, an Alpine parrot that is found only in South Island, New Zealand and most of the time only in forested and alpine regions like ski areas. It is known to be a very kaypoh bird. Very interesting to observe the bird coming out when we park our car and it walking around to peck at the tyres and "inspect" the car.

thats what i think when i drive, most of the time, the scenery in front of me just look like a postcard picture itself.... too bad, my camera and my skills still not up to scratch yet to capture the beauty haha
