heng ppl q for me.
I recommend the Lor mee @ Toa Payoh Lorong 8 market... the ingredients consist of fried fish, crispy pork dumplings, pork slices, fishcake, whole egg and yup... the yellow flat noodles, thick gravy (not sure of stock, is it pork?) filled with sambal and garlic... Oishii!

any ngoh hiang?
i've tried one stall at the hawker centre at bedok reservoir road...not bad...got ngoh hiang, fried fish, fried fritter, pork slices...
what makes the bowl of lor mee different from the rest is the addion of green sliced chilli...
the unique taste and aroma of green chilli...makes the bowl of lor mee taste special...like lor mee also like mee robus...

Yes, the auntie occasionally add the pieces of ngoh hiang... only when she got the time, she is very old (about 70yrs old)... So you have to be lucky in order to get that additional ingredient... But even without the ngoh hiang... it is still very delicious!
