Just now I was about to board a fairly crowded bus and as usual, the crowd swarmed to the door and the jostling and elbow-jabbing session began, nothing strange.
Then something caught my attention, a mother and daughter overtook, hitting my hand, and whaddaya know? Mother gave orders to daughter to squeeze in from the left, and mother herself squeezed in from the right. And when I meant squeeze, it was really squeeze. In fact you could very well have squeezed er....., never mind, and get away with it.
Was there need for such behavior? There were no free seats to fight for, and ample room for all anyway. Worse, why pass this shameful behavior down the generation?
