I recall when my daughter was young maybe between 2 to 4 years old she used to scream in the middle of the night. Although I live in California, I was brought up in Singapore and have heard many stories about spirits disturbing kids.
My friend who is also from Singapore took me to a temple in Monterey Park, California to see this monk. The monk explained to me that alot of kids who are under age 7 is very vulnerable to seeing spirits or being disturbed by spirits. He said that this would happen more to people who had abortion. The dead fetal (Yin Ling) of the siblings might come back to disturb because the soul is unhappy of what was done to him/her.
Anyway, this monk had given me a talisman which I put on the wall at the level of her head where she slept. After that the screaming kind of stopped. Also, I had change the position of her bed. Sometimes, changing the position of the bed can deterred these encounters. Also, best is to keep a night light or low voltage light on in the room. Make the room bright and don't use Ying colors for the room decor. -

but i once got a sister who passed away when she was very very very young....
and i remembered when i was young, the other sister of mine would always shout " Jie Jie (sister)" when we returned to home from outside.... -

That time I still living at Woodlands and that time the new flats just came up so not so many ppl and still pretty dark
And it was 11 plus somemore and very creepy coz got alot of stray dogs howling
She somemore dress in black so from a distance can't really see and I have night blindness so my night vision is horrible
Her foundation was so thick and white that from a distance look like a floating head
Anyway coz I was tired and I thought I was having hallucinations so I still didn't freak out though a bit scared
Go closer then realise that it's her make up >< -

on the first day itself...
i worked late that evening....and while i was walking to the bus stop, there were lotsa pple from their respective office buildings, they were making their offering, burning the papers...
i suddenly got this very very eerie feeling and feeling of many things were around.....
the feeling made the hair on the back of my neck stands.....
