i find bowling so expensive here. well, they go by the hour. an hour, depending on time of day, day of week. i go at peak period lah, no choice. work mah hor. and like cosmic some more. so on friday nite, we pay about with taxes, C$28. a pair of shoes a toonie which is C$2 coin. and during that one hour, we can squeeze in a game and a half or so for a party of 4.

Wow! She got lucky! Must tell you about a friend who's offbase house in Japan got broken into. When I told my students about this they said, Japanese thieves usually steal cash only. My friend had about 80,000yen stolen from her cookie jar. Apparently the thieves knew where to look since we Americans over there have Y plated cars. -

hah. actually i heard it's bad luck if burglers broke in and didn't get anything. it's considered bad luck or something. then, in return, they will damage the property. don't know how true.

my friend's son right? he took paternal leave and went back to s'pore with the wife. so the house was empty but he ask neighbour to help watch. but how much can neighbour help right?
his house got burglarized leh. took almost everything. the burglers must have beo liao and know boh lang and can take their time. i bet they came with a truck. -
