can i sue my father for not paying shan yang fei

don't know whre to post this..but...
can i sue my father for not paying shan yang fei for 13 years????
he's supposed to pay us $1000 a month. everytime my mother or i call him up to pay, he will give a lot of excuses like, "i still owe the bank $7000..." "i still owe ppl $xxxxx..." "i also no money."
CRAP.
he has another family. while we live in 3room flat, he and his family of one wife and one 5 year old daughter live in 5-room flat. he got new car, handphone... we have none of these. so how can he say he has no money? don't bluff lor. and he buy so many toys for his daughter. (sometimes when i ask him to drive me to places, i see so many toys in his van. or i go his office to photocopy things i also see so many toys lying on the floor. kaoz.)
so while he's living happily on the other side (actually i also dun care he happy or not. give us what you owe us ok!), my mother is struggling to take care of me and my brother with her pathetic pay of $900 a month!
soooo...can i sue him? and what would we get if he really has no money or not enough money to pay?

okie..anyway, i'm angry because whenever we meet ( as in, me and my father), which is like, maybe 5 times a year?, he will talk to me about how to make money ah..all sorts of crap. coz he nowadays keep attending those seminars on how to make money lah. then i say, i save money. then he say what, "ha! save money how can be rich one day? must use money to make more money." all sorts of crap. i also know can use money to make more money. but in order to do that, you also must have a certain amt of money in your hands first, right. kns. then keep going on about how i would stay poor forever if i just save money. sometimes i really feel like shooting back, "you pay us what you need to pay us, then i will use that amt of money to make more money lor." or "say so much. then why you still so 'poor'? owe money everywhere. don't bullshit to me ok."

, there is nothing much I can do except to advice you to compile all the lies and 1 day, he will probably contradict himself. And of course, you can use that moment to your advantage. -
maybe you can consult a lawyer instead of people here~ he/she(Lawyer) would tell you what you can and cannot do and more details ofcuz~but mostly if you consult them,you will have to pay for consultation fees~

I believe he can be taken to court because my mother did it to my dad when I was a kid ....Not too sure how you can go about it though....
try AWARE...they willd o their best to help you and advise you and I know they do have free legal services offered for women in need...maybe your mother can go to them for assistance...

Same scenario here but that happened to me 10 yrs ago when i am 11years old. I can't tolerate his bully of my mom in monetary terms and feelings.
I don't know if this helps you. this is what i have done...
I went to his office 5 days consecutive although i got his beatings. I cried in front of his colleagues and head of department. I became a siao kias, tore his office papers.
So he buay tahan anymore and pay up.
Sad case right?
I suggest you kamikaze him. Since he brings you to this world, he should at least bear the minimal responsibility. -
when u take him to the courts, the worse case scenario... he gets thrown into jail.. tats not that good if he has a job, but htats a good thing for my father cos he actually said he enjoyed his life inside there..

nope.. that is not the only thing...his assets and property can and may be seized to sell off and pay his debts..the money earned will be used to pay for his outstanding payments...any balance left over will be held in trust and paid out on a monthly basis. he even quit his job just so that he could u noe, miss out on the alimony part since he has no form of income... his brother is supporting him...
