are there any music phone for recommendation?
please state the price with plan...
IPhone and Nokia 5800.
I'm not your friendly neighbourhood phone-seller Ah Lian, go and find your own plans and price.
5800 ain't good. its lag, bulky, and not that sturdy. if you are really into music, get a separate ipod cause sound quality from phones is substandard. otherwise sony or lg if you hear music through earpiece. or nokia from speakers.

Sturdy means strong, not that sturdy means easy to get spoilt.
iPhone would be the best there is now in the market. I hate the headphone jacks on SE phones, Nokia is way too flimsy (although I'm stuck using one).
Nope. but i classify for my point of view coz i used to change phone every 2-3months:D
Sony earpiece tend to be better than nokia(nokia is the worst earpiece i've used).
in terms of sound quality for earpiece, best to worst: sony, lg,samsung, nokia
in terms of sound quality for speakers(quality/loudness), nokia, sony, lg(cookie/viewty), samsung
as for battery, with heavy usage, 1day shouldn't be a problem.
user interface, i like nokia, lg(cookie/viewty), sony, samsung
5800 is a phone where nokia tries to cram in as many features as possible, but they compromise with the quality. If you are planning to get a phone to use for a year or so, then any phone should be ok. 70% of the phones today aren't made to last.
@sand king. yes iphone is good, but its overpriced, its just an ipod touch with the ability to make calls and a camera which sucks. besides the price and if you dont need such a good camera, yes. the iphone is good. SE phone quality is not too bad, its just the earphone jack that sucks, after 2years need to use rubberband secure your earpiece jack-.- lg is getting better overall, you can try that when your contract ends.
nokia 5320.

IMO it's worth the money (only that telecom comps in sg are using it to harvest $$) Apple, their products don't feel as flimsy as others.
generally, apple products are pretty good. but for the the only addition of an iphone to an ipod touch is basically the camera and the ability to make phone calls and im paying more than twice the price. i'd rather invest in a h/p and an ipod for 700-800. i believe that its the brand that makes it so costly. should i get ipod touch 3g 8gb or 32gb?(my current 1st gen 8gb is only half filled)
I just got iPod touch 3gen. Not bad

Just get those below 200 dollars non-contract price at 7-eleven.A simple music phone only cost 100-200 dollars.
why get it at 7-11, 7-11 is 10-20% or expensive. get from those small h/p shops.
