dude if u were astute enough... tutorials are immaterial to success at the exams... its all in the memory capacity u haveOriginally posted by FALL:How r u going to pass the promos without going for tutorials?
And I think it is hard to someone to impersonate u at the exam.
Precisely.Originally posted by ntu slacker:dude if u were astute enough... tutorials are immaterial to success at the exams... its all in the memory capacity u have
I don't quite agree, to me I think its not about remembering (more of the hardcore engine subjects don't rely heavily on memory work), but more of relative processing capability, precisely how others process the exam questions poorer. In the end, its not how better you perform relative to others but more of how worse off you are compared to others. You can answer almost half of all the questions wrong and still get a decent B or C or maybe an A.. So sometimes sitting in a exam where everyone comes out complaining about it being difficult is better than coming out of one where everyone comes out of it saying it was easier than expected. Its all so moderated, that's y now i think students want a greater transparency in the grading system..Originally posted by Parka:Precisely.
The more GB you have, the higher your grades will be.

Anyway, gone are the days where engine are high paying jobs (esp civil and mech) and so much of the pay is actually pegged on how much the government allocate on public spending on infrastructure and housing.. And with everything now on Bio this and bio that.. quite hopeless outside.. all the attention and money is pumped into this area. Better switch fast if not, foreign talen is going to snap up all these places and the the govt is going to say "no choice, singapore don't have the talents so need to look overseas".So if you want to do hardcore engineering with an engine degree, be quite prepare to become a foreign talent in countries like china and india or maybe vietnam.. if not be prepared to be innovative and start your own business...Originally posted by Parka:They've got something to hide......
I wonder how many people can pass the same exams one year later.
It's true that Singapore doesn't have talent.Originally posted by Ecxentrique:Anyway, gone are the days where engine are high paying jobs (esp civil and mech) and so much of the pay is actually pegged on how much the government allocate on public spending on infrastructure and housing..
