read somewhere movie 4 is already in production? Not too sure who's directing tho ...Originally posted by choco B:Priz of Azkaban is one of the better books because of introduction of strong, central characters. Book 4 (if they make it), is going to be quite a spectacle too.

3. change in location for hagrid's house??!! (wtf!!)
this has got to be the worst of all
in the 1st two movies, hagrid's house was at the edge of the Forbidden Forest and on flat ground, so why is it now at the bottom of the hill?
to me, this is a very bad oversight by the makers of this 3rd movie
the followers of the Harry Potter series religiously watch every single movie that is released
certain things like this cannot be changed, as it removes the familiarity from the 1st two movies

a few bad points ... (i hope these are not too revealing, cause they have nothing much to do with the essense of the story )
[b]1. moving too fast
even with the 3rd book (which is moderately thick), the makers are already having a problem cramming all the pages into 2 hrs' worth of screen time
wonder what will happen when it comes to the 4th and 5th book, which are much thicker than the 1st three books
perhaps, they need to adopt the same method as Kill Bill, which was to split it into volume 1 and 2?
Yeah , they butchered the story quite badly
2. change of actor for headmaster dumbledore
the headmaster's role has always been one of seriousness (in my opinion, even in the book) and a slightly myterious character
the new actor is too comedish for my liking
the character has been totally changed, again purely my opinion
perhaps, they should've chose someone similar to the old actor to retain the characteristics of the headmaster
have you read the book? the headmaster's character isn't THAT serious , unless something major happens , he's quite comical rather.

read somewhere that this director Alfonso had wanted a much darker and scary environment for this movie , so he changed the decor inside the castle and outside , so now the castle doesnt look as "inviting" as it used to , especially with all the craggy rocks all over the place. Kinda menacing rather.
