  Pearl Jam was here in '95 but i was in Melbourne.. and attended their concert there!
  
  then came Smashing Pumpkins... and Foo Fighters with Sonic Youth!!
  
  crowdsurfers galore!!
  
  there was ONE person hurt... she fell off the railings when she was sitting at the back
  
  i think it scared the establishment so much no more acts came for some time..

  Hehhe.. i was @ Pearl Jam in 93?! Or was it... '94.. memories become a bit vague. I think i still have the ticket stub somewhere. Awww.. it's all good. It was also free... so was def leppard.
  
  I don't think you can get away with stuff like that anymore. It's all gone downhill after someone died in Big day out sydney.. i think it was 2001? Jessica something her name was.. Fred Durst and LimpBizkit were in court for that.

  i was at Pearl Jam in melbourne in 95.. the 2nd concert.. the papers said it was the best one.. the first had problems with the equipment... the last because of crowd trouble still got the stub & the bootleg of that concert as recorded by KTS
  
  still beside myself that we didn't go to try and crash the 3rd concert.. coz ultimately, it became a free concert when the sheer volume of the crowd pushed the fence of the Sidney Myer Music Bowl down and everyone went in free

  Aussie friend and I flipped when we ransacked my brother's collection. There was Atari Teenage Riot amongst it.
  
  Anyway, for this reason. I find it very hard to define the genre of the music i listen to.

  Good Ol' KTS. Didn't they operate out of Sg at one stage. HEHEHEHE.. that's what we found out from one of their mail order addresses. hahahaha... Irony. Anyway.. the sg gig was when everyone was really into Daughter for the mainstream stuff. It was quite sad cos it was in sg. Very stifling up there in the semi cheap seats.
  
  Def leppard i was right upfront. That was fantastic.
  
  Suede was disgusting.. that was an uncontrolled mosh.
