The shock that someone so vain, so gay and so successful would commit suicide in peak hour!
My gay friend said this about his death.
"If someone like him who has a partner, money and career would commit suicide, there is no hope for us gays."

Apparently, it was a mixture of reasons:
1. His last role was emotionally dark & draining, & it affected him too much, made him depressed, etc.
