Basically, trying to identify certain traits to pin some blames on a gender is actually opening the path for conflicts and flaming. Not forgetting such identifications might be damn inaccurate.
I noted forumnites ,especially those in relationships, albeit shaky ones, will post some threads that try to pin some faults of the opposite gender, making some insinuating remarks on the opposite gender's intelligence, emotional being and other stuff. Not forgetting MCPs and feminists too, who will ride on such wave of flaming.
However, one must note it simply takes two hands to clap.

They would find each other appealling to start a relationship, unless one party is reluctant, which is a bit of stupidity.
Similarly, in a conflict, bot partieswould have been at fault.
Both chose to quarrel, and each party would take whatever measure to control or increase the tenacity of that conflict.
A quarrel is like men being a spark, and woman being fuel. It doesnt start without both put their elements together.
At the end of such quarrels, it will be a usual sight to put blames on each other, than on how both did not resolve conflicts well.
Such things need not to be only for people who have gone through relationships and taste the bitter side of it. Those who choose to examine carefully, and proceed to act wisely upon it, will be the ones gaining the most out of wondeful relationships. -

you are right about 'seeing' beyond the surface, which was my original meaning to "women have eyes but do not see". i'm sorry if there was any confusion.
The original statement was made in view of the complicated relationship between men & women, their needs/wants/obsession with each other and the heartaches suffered by both in pursuing a union.
what i am trying to put across was the fact that men will always be men and women will always be women.
men often think they that being stronger than women means more physical strength, earn more, being able to plan further in life, smarter, etc. this is all but physical. when the chances arrive, they would still think with their loins. where is the self control? if they can't even control an itsy part of themselves what kind of strength is there?
most women would have gone thru one thing - hurt and pain from broken relationships or the hurts gone through while pursuing it. if something hurts, why do it again? why go through cycles of heartaches and/or abuse? yet women are willing to give up everything they got, time and time again, just for a hope that it will bring 'love'. it seems they never learn that no men would ever bring them the happiness they seek.

that is why women are hurt by thoughtless actions and men don't understand why they kick a "big" fuss over "nothing".

one uses the eye to see but it is more important to see beyond the surface... and we need more than the eye to do that...
there are women who are stronger than men but only show that in front of others... except the man she loves... allowing him to take care of him... but there are also women who are strong in front of everyone and therefore requires a man much stronger than her...
in terms of relationships, not everything requires thinking, and some things will never happen if men always think... so sometimes its good that men dont use their brain to think... but some other aspects definitely need lah... -
