Friendster's limitation of msgs and profile..

Hey since this started, it's been driving me insane. I've found long lost friends from way back to the time that i went to Cebu to visit my dad.
URGH.. but i can't msg them to tell them who i am.. !! It is driving me nuts!! -
how come cannot message them?
thought can just attempt to add them and then if they add, can message them? -
shudnt have a problem messaging them..... even if u cannot add them, they leave u a option to send a message rite??

If you are outside their set "x" degrees of friends, you cannot send them messages or view their full profiles, and vice-versa.

Exactly.. the problem is that, by default the security settings are for 1st degree (i think).
And all these people have their settings on high security. I can't msg them or see who is 'their frends'.
Quite annoying.. i mean.. friendster doesn't necessary notify via email that they have a personal msg anyway. And if they don't log in frequently..that's it!
Hmm.. long lost friends man. I'm talking about .. close to..
