If a MRT line is build between Orchard station and Outram Park interchange via Great World City, it would save fares and travelling time for passengers travelling between the East-West line & North-South line and vice-versa, as this proposed line is a more direct route, compared to the U-shape route via City Hall interchange. There will only be one station beside Great World City.
What's your view on this? Do you support the building of this line?
It would be a waste of resources to have a MRT line connecting Orchard and Outram Park or Tiong Bahru with only 2 stations as it would be obviously be underground. There is no point building such short segments of rail when resources can be diverted to the Circle Line etc.
