Hi!,
I just got my very first Gundam when I was in Tokyo, unfortunately I cannot read any Japanese so am a bit lost looking at the instructions.
Could anyone please tell what the symbols at the top of this page are please?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
BJ.
eh. i can safely say that it aint that important.
if u need help in building your first gundam i think searching for tutorials over the net helps alot more than those unfamiliar japanese words. (:
Those symbols are mostly there to say like "do this part twice" or "put this before that", but actually not critically important, unless u need to place a part before sealing it in.
Btw doing a strike freedom? MG?
1st this 1st... you must declare your nuclear core with customs before bringing in your gundam... and must have lisence for you, 31 mm CIWS x2...
You mean those two rows of symbols? I'm pretty sure most people ignore those anyway... (they're not necessary most of the time since the parts only fit together a certain way).
Here are their meanings from left to right:
1st row:
1-1 - Glue together
1-2 - Indicator for which marking seal to use (in Katakana)
1-3 - Indicator for which decal to use (in Roman Alphabet)
1-4 - Attach parts in the opposite direction on both sides
1-5 - Attach part in the same direction both sides
1-6 - Caution: note the direction of the part
1-7 - Caution: do not over tighten the screw
2nd row:
2-1 - Cut this part
2-2 - Make the same part the number of times indicated inside the box
2-3 - Assemble this part first
2-4 - Assmeble this part afterwards
2-5 - Turn the part according to the degrees indicated in the box
2-6 - Choose one of the parts to assemble first
2-7 - Move both parts the same way in opposite directions
actually just follow whatever it says will do....picture says a thousand words
