Gihren's Greed: The Menace Of Axis
This week's Famitsu announced this PSP title will come out February 7th. As mentioned previously, it'll include the ZZ and CCA periods and you can choose to start out as the Federation, Zeon, AEUG, Titans, or Axis forces. Also being reported is the appearance of MS from MS IGLOO and Harmony Of Gundam. Including variations, there are said to be about 400 MS/MA. Estimated play time is given as 20-30 hours. While event scenes don't have animation, there are more than 400 still scenes created in collaboration with Sunrise.

Gihren's Greed: Menace Of Axis pics
Happinet Online has more screenshots from the new PSP Gihren's Greed. In addition to the previously mentioned info, more than 200 characters appear and there are new strategic elements, such as the Alignment System (which involves the good & evil actions of your faction), unit remodeling (Dodais, base jabbers, custom unit mods), night battles, and entrustment of units. People who reserve the game get a special Blood Of Gihren's Greed DVD.

PSP Gihren's Greed Special Pack
Bandai Namco put out a press release (PDF) announcing the Gihren's Greed Special Pack: a red custom-colored PSP suitable for Char Aznable himself with the Principality Of Zeon emblem on the backside, AC adapter, battery pack, Zeon cross medal strap, and the Menace Of Axis game. Price is 25,890 yen, release date is February 7.

The official site has Game Summary and Goods pages up. The Blood Of Greed DVD that comes with reserved orders includes promo videos of past games in the series and an instructional strategy video for beginners.

Famitsu.com also has a post explaining the new Alignment System: the Alignment parameter in the game indicates the reputation of your military. It gradually shifts each turn while you choose events and carry out particular plans. Ethical conduct makes the gauge rise while unethical behavior (plundering resources, bribing enemy engineers) lowers it. Changes in the game's development occur depending on if the Alignment is on the higher end of the scale, known as "Law", or the lower end, "Chaos". If you're closer to the Law side, you can receive funding from neutral forces and resource offerings. If you're closer to the Chaos side, you can commit atrocities like colony dropping but with penalties, such as having to deal with uprisings and temporary restrictions.

GameSpot Japan posted Media Create numbers for the past week, showing Gihren's Greed: Menace Of Axis for the PSP as the #2 game with 123,000 copies sold (the figures include the Special Pack set with custom colored PSP).
