  Apparently the bearded man is not Patrick, but Ali Al-Sarches, the voice in the beginning of Ep 1 and a mercenary who trained Setsuna in combat (sounds familiar? )

  Ep 9 - "Prestige of a Major Power" - Sergei & co., after a battle with CB, discover Setsuna & co.'s transport containers and Ptolemaios.
