Gundam 00 gets trio of side stories
Gundam Imperfect Web reports the following details from Hobby Japan about upcoming serialized side stories coming up alongside the Gundam 00 anime:
Mobile Suit Gundam 00V
- Begins in the December issue of Hobby Japan
- Mecha commentary + short stories + scratch built models
- The main character opposes Celestial Being
- Relative to 00, the story is set in the future, with the protagonist looking back to before and after 00's story
- Depicts mecha seen by the protagonist as well as ones he created himself
Writer: Tomohiro Chiba
Mecha Design: Kanetake Ebikawa, Takayuki Yanase, Kenji Teraoka, Hitoshi Fukuchi
Character Design: Taraku Uon
Supervision: Sunrise
Mobile Suit Gundam 00P
- Begins in the December issue of Dengeki Hobby
- Mecha commentary + short stories + scratch built models
- Relative to 00's story, depicts the past, with all kinds of prototype mecha appearing

- Begins in the December issue of Gundam Ace
- Manga by Koichi Tokita
- Story takes place at the same time as 00's -

Gundam 00 DVD Vol. 1 commemoration event
Reports from this month's anime mags say Vol. 1 of Gundam 00 will hit DVD on January 25. The DVD release will be commemorated with G Festival 2008, taking place in Osaka on Jan. 26 and Tokyo on the 27th. Planned guests include the Gundam Meister seiyuu.
