question on gold plated kits

  would there be things like oxidation or rust of the metal used on the gold plated kits like akatsuki?
  if so, do i need to coat the kits with something?

  akatsukis are chrome plated, it will not rust.

  oh i see....didn't really know what is being used to plate it...thks...btw, would the gold color fade over time?

  the only worry is that it might peel off overtime.....is best to get coated to prevent it....

  yea..kinda expected $100+ would like to get it by tis wk as i have holiday til end of tis wk...then go bck to sch no time liao...haha, better to just pay a bit more i guess..

  yahoo auction sellers are selling them in brand new MISB. cheap and super fast too.
