yea... comapre to local made kits, dalong's look more unrealistic and comical. but they give their unique features, can see its dalong's style.Originally posted by jetabt767400:Seriously I find dalong's markering too strong, very very hard, and well, this sounds ok to some, but I think its too much of paint...
not professional at all. the panel lines are too thick. and they always like to overdraw.Originally posted by jetabt767400:Seriously I find dalong's markering too strong, very very hard, and well, this sounds ok to some, but I think its too much of paint...
Yeah quite true, I just go OMG-ROFL-WTF when I saw the marking on MG Freedom's rear armor panel...Originally posted by Gordonator:not professional at all. the panel lines are too thick. and they always like to overdraw.

hmm may i ask whats the diameter of the tip? 0.04mm?Originally posted by Gordonator:i finally bought my first oil based super fine gundam marker last friday from joyce (Hobby art gallery).
amazing. i love it~!
i'm still new to paneling so for the time being i'm selecetive as to which line to draw. i only draw lines that have a drain as it's easier. no need to scare of crooked lines or draw too thick.
should be around there. it's not written on the marker.Originally posted by Purplehaze623:hmm may i ask whats the diameter of the tip? 0.04mm?
ohh... should be the one i got too... but ive go thru the photo-guide on paneling. they've used a gundam marker written on the marker itself it is 0.4mm, and i dont seem to be able to find it.Originally posted by Gordonator:should be around there. it's not written on the marker.
although the tip is very fine, but as u draw the lines on the model, the amount of force u apply is very important. too much force and the line will be very thick, like those u see at dalong.net.
well i think the old markers have the 0.04mm sign on it...i have one old one that has it and my new one dosen't, but they are all the same...Originally posted by Purplehaze623:ohh... should be the one i got too... but ive go thru the photo-guide on paneling. they've used a gundam marker written on the marker itself it is 0.4mm, and i dont seem to be able to find it.

i can vouch for it. oil based gundam marker definitey won't smudge.Originally posted by killtuna:i bought the sakura 005 marker as recommended by some people..it is not good at all..hand rub on the part that is drawn and the ink will smudge ..will the drawings from gundam marker smudge if anything rub against it?
