  The latest issue of Famitsu announced SD Gundam G Generation Cross Drive for the Nintendo DS. It's possible to create original MS by equipping them with things like funnels or phase shift armor. Can form teams of up to 4 MS that enhance your offensive & defensive capabilities. 120 stages. Release date is May 31. Currently 70% complete. The listed series:

  News from this week's Famitsu, confirmed on the official site, says SD Gundam G Generation Cross Drive is delayed until an unspecified Summer date.

  G Gen Cross Drive update-o-rama
  This week's Famitsu reports SD Gundam G Generation Cross Drive will be released on August 9 in two editions: a regular for 5,040 yen and a limited edition for 21,840 yen which comes with a Nintendo DS Lite with a Nu Gundam-based visual design. Preorders of the game will also come with a Gundam game custom DS software case which can hold up to 3 games. First runs of the game will have an original Gundam War promotion card.
  
  Gundam SEED Astray and X Astray are newly confirmed appearing series, with more yet-to-be announced. Original characters Fio Crawford and Nikea are also revealed to appear.

  i'll hope it'll be more like PS1 and 2's g-generation, not a simplified one like GBA's and NDS's last g-generation.

  SD Gundam G Generation Cross Drive first week sales
  
  Though Media Create seems to be on vacation this past week, DengekiOnline.com reports SD Gundam G Generation Cross Drive was the #1 game in Japan the week it came out. Cross Drive sold 149,000 copies, a big improvement on G Generation DS' sales and on par with G Generation Portable.

  anyone tried it before already?
  
  i've tried it on my sis's DS. the game system is okok, jus tat because of the battle system, battle scenes cannot be skipped. the battle system is indeed much better. it goes with a bunch of original characters in ur draft as the mission goes by. im now stucked with 2 regular pilots and a battleship identical to V gundam's, on 2nd mission. it can go to "search enemy" mode, which is a free battle mode to find random MSes for u to take down.
  
  btw im stucked there because im trying to capture a kampfer from the "search enemy" mode.
  
  rating:
  graphics: 7/10 - i dont ask for much from a DS
  gameplay 8/10 - more weapons and MS's unique abilities could be introduced
  sound effects 6/10 - i usually dont like DS/GBA sound system, although DS improved quite some.
  storyline ??/10 - i dont understand the original story... but most of the scenarios are from original stories.
  
  will buy it when i gt the chance to find out the market price of it in singapore.
  (yes, im playing it via' *ahem* source.)

  got this game, but didn't play much...quite fun to play, the touch control feels better over the first g generation ds controls....but half the time dunno wat i need to do...

  ive played G-generation F from PSone before, thats why i always know what to do.
  
  its one of my fav games ever played, as it takes really forever to finish up the library of MSes available. (same for the case of most g-generation)
