Info: August of this year will see the sale of the 100th Master Grade item since the MG line first appeared with the RX-78 Gundam in July 1995. When you buy a MG from a participating shop, you get a 36-page, full color book which contains a development history & main selling points of the MG MS-06J Ver. 2.0, a How To portion for simple finishing (beginner/minor pro), and an introduction to the 99 MG items paving the way for the MG Countdown 100. The book is Bandai's first step in commemorating the 100th Master Grade.
Some cool stuff...hopefully we will get this...

sometimes i wonder do some MG series really deserve to be MG? as in MG gelgoog, zaku, dom etc? as in their design isn't that complicated at all.

Hmm, any idea would a MG be a ship? Quite impossible eh, cos its like so complicated structures and it defies the logic that its a MS should be in MG.
And ships are in EX series...

i have a question. usually how often do Bandai release MG kits? one MG kit per month?

Master Grade No.100 Countdown
With the 98th (Char's Zaku II ver 2.0) and 99th (Char's Gelgoog ver 2.0) MG kits announced, the "MG No.100 Countdown" campaign is now underway. Sponsored by Gundam Ace, Dengeki Hobby Magazine, and Hobby Japan Magazine, readers can submit their guesses as to what the 100th will be on a postcard that comes with each issue. Bandai will randomly give away 100 gold-plated versions of the 100th MG kit to contestants with the correct MS.
The 100th MG will be announced at the Shizuoka Hobby Show (May 17-20th).

There might be still some hope that it would be another mobile suit though..it didn't really say it is the RX-78

The MG Archive ~Road To 100~ publication is the name of the 36-page book whose details were mentioned previously here -
