After seeing the amazing collections here I will like to start one too
. But before that I have a few questions.
Firstly, do you all do any paintjob or other touch up after fixing the model from the box. Cuz my painting is very bad and I think I will make the model even worse than before I paint it
. Gordonator's models look very nice to me already and if that's without a paint job I wun paint it too.
Secondly, what grade and size model would be nice for a starter like me. I will like to purchase a model from the Gundam Seed or the Deathscythe from Gundam Wing. Budget will be around 80 bucks per model.

if yes, i suggest u start on 1/100 ones as 1/144 might be too small and lacks the details. 1/100 ones are not too challenging even for beginners and the level of details is acceptable.
when i first started modelling, 1/44 doesn't give me the satisfaction as compare to building a 1/100 one.
lastly gundam model aren't that expensive. if possile i suggest u make a trip down to sunshine plaza. there's 2 shops there selling at cheap reasonable price at below $50 per kit.
hey lets wait for duotiga83 to his advice too. afterall, he is more pro in this.

yup is recommended to do NG/HG 1/100 scale as it needs less painting/paneling than HG/NG 1/144...MG can do but some kits need some screwing/bolting and cutting of mesh pipes.....Originally posted by killtuna:After seeing the amazing collections here I will like to start one too . Hmm, Totohum, your collection is quite fabulous and fullfilled, haha...
Me personally like the IWSP most, as is I mount it on the Strike Rouge the day I finished assembling and thought up with the quote that how can Cagalli control so many weapons and control surfaces at one time, and how the 'disarmed' Strike (as in the one that comes with the IWSP) can fight with one beam gun and shield alone, as I don't mount the 'leftover' aile pack from Strike Rouge on it...
Me going to post my finished ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom full burst mode which I bought at a more ex-orbitant price of 139.90, well, I heard that its a parallel inport thing after I bought it, so...
And if you are not looking for the gimmicks that it carries, I advise you NOT to buy that, go for the normal version, found to be selling at $68.00 CNY price at the same store I bought the FBM, at Orchard Cineleisure -

As for strike freedom still considering whether to buy or not...have not even seen the full burst mode even being sold here...most likely sold out..coz i like to get it for sake of collection...but if the full burst mode discontinued already then would most likely get the normal one -
Yeah, of course I won't say until that I like got 'conned', but the fact is 139.90 is too much...

Thanks, I photoshopped them before submitting, as in reduce the pixels to 800 in length and increased the pixel per inch (ppi) to 200. Hmm, nice that you have finished the Strike plus IWSP kit, that was really nice man!
Me waiting for Strike Noir only, but the fact that some other MS kits are also quite interesting. Like the UC's MS-09 Rick Dom, sort-a like the CE's ZGMF-XX09T Dom Trooper, so kinda like it too...
