Guys, I think we all know that we lost to a team that we shouldn't have and that the scoreline did not reflect how tight the match was. Much was said during the debrief, but I have to remind all of you of the cliche that "the league is a marathon, not a sprint". The first result will not make our season and neither will the second. As I've said before, as long as we keep the intensity we had in the first match, we will do alright.
All I can say is that I wanna put things right this Sunday....

have to agree with Russ. Keep your heads up REDS. Dun let this one result bring us down!! Will not be able to play this sunday(work)

Its certainly not a gd news to me dat mr ahlians isnt playing our next game.
Thats going to give us some problems. Restricting our 5-0 victory in our next game to probably 2-0.

Looking at our opponents yesterday, our team play was not as good as it should have been as we should have won by a much bigger margin and in a more comfortable manner. We started the game very slowly, with some players looking complacent and only seemed to wake up after we conceded a goal. Nevertheless, we managed to grind out a result (though with a bit of help from their keeper... ) and gain 3 more points! Considering that we started with a makeshift line-up, I think we did pretty well. Once again, we could see our players giving their all, which always sets the team in the mood for the game. Well done guys!

As mentioned during debrief, we started the match very poorly and ended up going 3 goals down. However, we managed to pick ourselves up later in the game and managed to get back into the game with 2 goals. Although we were not able to snatch the draw, the way we recovered was commendable. As I said, if we were to lose a match, this is the way I'd rather lose them. One of the more enjoyable defeats I've experienced!

been a while since i came in here..thought sidelines was no longer in use!
anyways, happy to c u guys doing so well in the league. always knew Reds was up for the challenge. at the rate u r going u can expect a top 5 finish at the end of the season. that wld be a commendable achievement considering most of the other teams are already playing in their 2nd season this year.
ADIOS for now. really miss playing with u guys lah..
ps ian/bernard, dun wori i'm sure we'll get to play together again -
Guys, the last game was played with much organisation and composure. In my opinion, we outplayed the opponents in most departments and should have won by a larger margin. This is saying a lot as indivually, our opponents were not bad ball players! Most importantly, we managed to get the 3 points which will see us climb up the table again. Well done guys!

As per confirm with Russ.... ian's "disppearance" from the left to take out a more threatening attacker is fine....
But ian will not be "appearing" else where other than the left when it comes to attacking for it will jeopardize the defence if the procession is lost and defending is req'd on the left.
Ian pledged to adhere to the following reminder.
Will be liable to "cowbei"s if similar offence has been repeated.

anyway... dat "zidane" guy in ya team is really quite gd. had a hard time shaking him off the ball in the last game we played. -
To keep the message board up to date, our last match was horrible. Fitness was bad, pitch was bad, and concentration was missing. Next match would definitely be better, I mean how much worse can we played compared to last week

would light to highlight that i am proud that we matched the opponents physically but did not get intimidated or retaliate to their challenges!
we matched them tackle for tackle and walked away instead of losing our temper!

Its rather sad that we actually lost the game that we were definitely not supposed to yesterday. I am sure quite a few of you would have the same thinking as me.
On the other hand, I think we played much better than the previous week, and should we continue it this way(minus the own game definitely!), we should be able to get a well deserved victory very soon. -
We were unlucky not to score, while the opponents were extremely lucky to score. We were in control of the game throughout the match. I feel sad, but not disheartened by the way we played. If we continue like we did, the next match will be ours to take

My apologies for my below par performance this match. My legs got really tired out chasing that super fast striker until not much strength left in them to even properly clear a ball.
But frankly, I do not mind losing this match compared to the last few. Our opponents this time round are worthy winners, so no complaints from me.
Hope I will do better next match -

the 1st round of games is almost over and i think the league is shaping up quite nicely.. the points are very close and so it's still anybody's game although it'll be hard to contest for the golden boot award since some1 scored 8 goals in a recent match!
anyways, can't wait for our 2nd leg meeting.. looking forward to kicking some1's leg (alfred hint hint)!

As we have committed to the league, we have to keep playing games every week, else we will lag behind in games played. The organisers are currently stressing this to the teams. However, whenever we are not playing any match, we will definitely try to arrange kickabouts for those who are keen. I am glad to say that the turnout for such kickabouts have been quite good, which displays the eagerness of our guys to play soccer every week!

hey guys its time to freaking stop the losing streak.. before we start to have the mentality on why we have to drag our selves every week to get whacked,
I suggest that we go for some jogging either today or tomolo ; so at least you will not feel so tired so easily on sunday.
Saturday if can water parade abit with water not beer!!~ okok i drink beer too... but cut down abit lah
I m also appealing for all who can, to try to make it to the field together this sunday and run our hearts out.

Agreed. I played hockey pitch soccer for 2 hours on Wednesday. 3 days to recover so hopefully its enough. Come on Reds, get that win.

I am glad we crafted out a draw to end our record breaking losing streak.
Special commendations to the following:
~Jimmy was one motivated guy! Covering every inch of the grass(well not exactly every inch lah...but the new paper always like that write one mah...)
~Ang playing as a very crucial anchor role and also scoring a goal for himself.
~Alfred and bernard moving up to help out the useless DM who was trying to puke out the bacon he had in the morning, thinking that it will put off the Mats...
~ And of cos a couple of brilliantly crafted moves
1) Our new stopper Jeremy calmly cushioning a high ball into the path of the opposition striker to slot home the first goal.
2) Slick passing in Midfield that motivated Derek to attempt chip/cross/shots?! at the keeper not once not twice but.. actually i forgot how many times...
3) Our motivational keeper who loves picking up the ball from the net...
ya he din save a single shot... we could have put Jimmy or ah seah there no difference.. pick ball from net only mah... i also know...
4) our useless Dm trying to head the ball back into attack only to head the ball against the bloody ground then ricocheted back into his face... bring rounds of appaluse and happy laughter from the crowd.. delighting the fans tremendously with the piece of amazing skill...
okok enuff nonsense.. lets work hard for a win next week... but dont like robin...go play simi hockey pitch soccer liao never recover... pui...
