Would hereby like to thank the team on our gritty performance. Even though we were 2 goals down we played a sensible game and eventually came up with the goods. Hope the "draw jinx" will be broken once and forever and the team can get back to its winning ways.
To Robin Goh, take good care of your ankle, we will need you back in the team as soon as physically possible.
To our scoring Fullbacks, good covering of the enitre pitch and thanks for saving the game with your timely goals.
To everyone else esp Kai who played extremely well in defence when needed, well done guys and keep it up

Yeh man, winning the game wasnt seemingly impossible when Rob went out with the injury with the opp increasing the lead to 2-0. I tot our morale was at rock-bottom.
With only 12 players, we displayed a gritty performance which eventually won us the match. Indeed applaudable.
Let's us cross our fingers for Rob's injury to be a minor one and be back with us soon.

Anyway, I will be totally out for a month
(hopefully not more)....injured my ligament. Hope I can be back soon. Anyway, thanx for the concern. Would try to come down for the games even though not playing.
In the meantime, have fun. There should be somebody new to cover center back position (Khairul's name keeps coming into my mind!!.....hahaha, juz kidding).
Last week was a great game other than injuring myself. Found that the opponents were abit too irritating, noisy and cocky!! Luckily we beat that bunch of irritating monkeys.

The last time I hurt my ligament 3 years back, I was out for a year....sigh.... -

Even till now, I still feel a sour taste in my mouth over the last match... I've never had such a bad and inconsistent referee before and I think we can credit both our opponents' goals to him!!
Anyway, I guess we should move on... Next match up is against Jem's friend's team. According to our centre-back, his pride is at stake, so let's gear ourselves up for the next game. Will provide the details once Robin confirms it with the ref. -
Good match guys...
We dominated the game... created loads of chances... and achieved a comfortable victory. It was good to see that while we had weaker opponents, we neither slacked nor got too eager to score. Everybody worked hard for the team and it was an overall good performance once again for Reds FC!

Good to hear of the recent victories. Keep it up guys. I should be down this Sun. Not certain if I am playing though. Have not tried running or kicking the ball yet but some swimming in the meantime. The pain is more or less gone but still has slight discomfort when the ankle is bend in certain angle.
My apologies for not appearing recently for the games . Have been quite cope up with my work. In any case, pls be informed that I may not be able to play every weekend soon cause I will be going back to uniform duties and performing shift work. Yup, it sucks but kind of good thing for me cause I'm going back as one of the OCs heading a team of officers for about a year.
Anyway, be prepared for my screaming and shouting soon ...hehehe

Although we lost the match, as I mentioned during the debrief, I liked the way we played in the 2nd half. We didn't give up, never hung our heads and just kept playing our soccer. That's the way we should be playing regardless of the scoreline. Playing with such spirit is what I like about this team and as long as we have that kind of spirit in every game, we will get results and enjoy our game...
