Okie..
This actually happened on last sat, and it's horrible..
My parents, my bf n I were heading to Jurong Swimming Complex for a swim, so my bf headed to the route to PIE.
So we gotta past through Ang Mo Kio Central, to Bishan and head out to Lornie Road to reach PIE Jurong.
I was sitting in the front seat, and was enjoying the new album that my dad had bought, so I was reading the lyrics as I'm listening..
We were along the road out near Ang Mo Kio Central (Opp. Macdonald)
Suddenly, my bf shouted!
I tot what happened!
He screamed that someone was being knocked down.
So I was kinda panic and lost!
and next I saw this van dashed out and cut from the 1st lane to the last juz infront our van!
I saw this little kid lying on the roadside, n his mum rushing over screaming and crying...
the kid just remain there motionless.......
before i could say anything, my bf drove off....

this is the 2nd 1 I saw the 1st one a woman was buying lunch for her kids with her husband so the husband asked her to go home 1st, but next moment she was being knocked down with gushes of blood flowing out of her....
whatever it is.. it's very sad, and horrifying....
as the the kid case what I heard from my bf is, the kid was crossing the road, and there is a bus stop there.
The time when he was crossing, he is in front of a bus, so the van couldn't even see the kid crossing before hand....

Ya very bad sign... but also keep praying for the child lor.. and I guess only merely abt 12 yrs old at the most..
Neber take down the car no. cos the driver never run away mah.. he dashed in from the 1st lane to the last, stop and alighted... but he himself also stand there in a daze

but still think the gov. need to check out the places where there's accident frequently huh....
like the one I mentioned... the traffic light is just abt a few metres away from the bus stop, and either is the bus stop (when buses come)hindering the view of pedestrian of oncoming cars or blocking the view of the drivers from the signal of the traffic light -

Is it along AMK Ave 3? i was there on Monday (07 June), waiting for bus service 133 outside Blk 324, and noticed that pedestrians just anyhow crossed the road.

no matter what the gahmen does, if the people keep driving like maniacs, and people treat roads like playgrounds, this will happen...
not a matter of gahmen.. but of personal responsibility...
driving is a responsibility.. it's 1 1/2 tons of speeding metal you're controlling..
i hope the boy is okay
