  Anyway heres a place i recommend for cake lovers.
  
  Brown Box Cafe at Serangoon Gardens (Kensington Park). Its opp the now renovating chomp chomp.
  
  It has a wide range of freshly baked cakes, including cheesecakes and tiramisus'. Pricing is reasonably priced below $10, lower than NYDC, honest. The ambience is bit zen-like and minimalist, think Marmalade. Their cafe was featured in The Sunday Times and 8 days quite awhile back.
  
  Their resident chef used to be from Les Amis and Marmalade as well.
  
  Give it a go when you have the chance. I'm sure you'll love their mudpies. The place abit ulu, but its nice serious. Oh by the way, they close on Tuesdays.
