Actually, the $200 is not totally being paid into transports. Now you are paying for transport too so you have to calculate the difference only. Which I think will added up to about $100 more (5++ minus 1.66 is about $4 difference and if you work 24 days a month then it's about $96 more)
Think the most important is the boss. If you have a good boss who is willing to groom you, travel to jurong islands also GO! If you have a boss (like mine) who can wait to kill you, work at home also no point. I'm just working for the money now... so sianz like a robot, I rather go work on construction sites.
Colleagues also very important cos they are the ones who will get you both in and out of troubles depending on what type are they.
Don't let travelling be a factor. I travel from jurong to yio chu kang everyday too. Sometimes you see interesting ppl and stuffs while you travel. For me I bio chio bus.... read... or sleep when travelling.
If travelling is not a factor, which one would you choose? -
which of it gives better prospect? y in the first place u resign from there? colleagues buay gam? pay too little? or what? if u wan to go back have to consider whether the factors that caused u to resign are still ard. otherwise in the end it will stil be back to sq one.

less pple less conflicts.... less backstabbing oso mah.... u noe there r always pple who boot-lick the superior n tell the superior some stories........

you won't want to throw away a good job just because you don't want to travel right?
Singapore is so small and the MRT is covering every inch of the ground liao.
If the old job got prospect (you don't want to be doing admin all your life right?) then go back if not then stay on.
Bottom line... your boss. -

anyway they now offer $50 more liao..... so it's $250 more than my current company......
