i always dun c doc aso whenever i have sore throat,coz i tihnk tt it's a very small matter lor...then there was once when my thraot was really very very pain,even when i swallow saliva....after a few days,when it dun get any better,i went 2 c the doc...then the doc said i had a very very bad infection..so she gave mi some liquid 2 gargle n antibiotics...it was tough as i vomit everytime i take medicine..bt glad everything's over now...

yah.. at the medical hall near my office, they sell prepared bags of herbs and stuff with instructions.. one of them got a huge winged insect like a hornet.. was telling the clerks about it and they said that they used before... and it was one of the best cures for cough, sore throat and things that affect the throat...Originally posted by thhong22:hornet???

chinese medicine always very weird one.... but it's more effective than western medicine rite??? -

some things are... like this one is supposed to be.. other things like shingles, western medication is better
it's learning about them and then choosing which one is best
oh, the hornet, no need to eat it.. just boil the stuff then drink the yukky liquid.. you won't know what you're drinking coz most chinese medication very bitter and smelly

but i hate docs n medicine
like i say, since it's heatiness, so juz drink more water loh....
usually don do anything to it, unless i'm half-dead -

yah.. everyone.. drink more water!
does not mean go and drink 1 litre then forget about it.. drink more water as in drink some water regularly... every half hour or so, a couple of mouthfuls..
don't eat too much fried food, potato chips and stuff like that.. get enough rest...
and (me included) don't eat durians! -

i drink alot of water one.... but for the past 3 busy days nv drink enuff, tat's y sore throat now -
