reports The Sundays Times of Singapore [20 Apr 2003]Two Singapore permanent residents have set up a website to tell visitors and Singaporeans here everything they wanted to know about Sars and more.
Captain Denis Menezes and his wife Anita dipped into their pockets to get the site up and running. It has cost them about S$700.
The couple maintain it themselves, updating it every day, and adding new links to articles on the severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars).
Their website,
www.sars.com.sg is totally dedicated to news on the virus from around the world, and includes the latest developments on a cure for it and what countries are doing to contain its spread.
