Rappelz players were in for a rare treat on Saturday, 20 November, when Eaglegame held an exclusive preview of the latest instalment of Rappelz Reborn, Epic 7: Awakening.
An eager crowd of fans gathered at J Cube Cybercafé in Singapore for a sneak peek at the exciting new contents of Epic 7. Players even got a free hands-on session to try out the cool new pets, equipment and other items before the new expansion was officially released.
The highlight of the event was the Battle of Champions, where elite teams faced a showdown to determine who can truly be called the cream of the crop in the Rappelz community.
After intensive rounds of PvP, 2 final teams emerged for the ultimate face-off. Team 5, comprising of Secret, DarkBring, Topbluesky and Jaseyrae got off to a good start by winning the first of the best-of-3 fights. However, Team 4, made up of Illyasviel, CelesteYan, B3ibei and Shoury, proved to be no pushovers and made a vicious comeback, eventually emerging as the Champions.
The top two teams walked away with great prizes including EagleCards and rare in-game items. Nevertheless, all teams put up a great show and were rewarded with exclusive costumes for their great display of the spirit of pride and sportsmanship. We are truly proud of you guys!
There were also generous gifts and prizes such as unreleased virtual items, goodie bags, gaming vouchers and exclusive promo packs for everyone at the event.
