is it worth getting xbox 360 for the live in singapore?

  Is it worth getting the xbox 360 live for singapore? This is because not much of sgreans even play the xbox live and also, even if they do, they complain of the rediculous lag. This is because most players come from the USA or else where.
  
  However, all these were old news and i am wondering if anyone is kind enough to update the status of it all here because i feel like getting xbox live to play halo3. <i know, im slow.>

  xbox?????isnt that like outdated already and not often sought after by gamers???its sellin real cheap in oz.....$100  sets also no one wants from second hand gaming shop!

  serious?  1 moment someone says its bad to get due to lag and the next moment someone says its okay to get xbox live and that theres no lag. weird..
