Well, this is the thing. I live in Brazil, and over here games are WAAY overpriced (like 250 bucks for each) and there's no way I can purchase those online using US$ (if there IS a way, let me know) either for the 360 or the ps3 ... and I'm going to the U.S., planning to buy one of those consoles. And since I won't have enough money to go out buying games all the time on person, I realize I will have to use my beloved isohunt search engine to download the games I want ...
... PS3 has a blu ray player ... and I heard the games are over 12GB ... do I need a Blu Ray recorder and disks to burn PS3 games ? Because THAT would screw everything up, since I would spend 200 dollars on a recorder, 50 dollars on CD's and 400 dollars on the console itself.
... X360 is a bit cheaper, but I heard it uses some sort of DVD format, that, hopefully, I'm able to burn. Would that be the best choice ? Or the PS3 games aren't so big ?
... I would only buy Wii if all my hopes of buying x360 or ps3 were completely diminished.
Oh and a little question, both of them would run at the max. resolution my LCD screen can hold ? (by that I mean, will I be able to play HD on both consoles).
I heard both of them are great, but the overpriced games in Brazil are forcing me to download console games ... PSP was easy to do, hope the others are as easy. AND DO I NEED PERFORM ANYTHING, LIKE FLASHING ON THE CONSOLE ? IS THAT A HIGH RISK, OR IS IT AS LOW AS THE PSP FLASHING ?
Thanks for the help, and I'm sure this topic will serve as help to many other people.
