Game Tester jobs?

Anyone know where to look for / apply for such jobs?
What's the availability of these jobs like?

Gametesting is extremely boring.
I need to follow certain procedures to test-play a certain portion of the game over and over and over again.
Then need to write report, then play over and over and over again the same small portion, then write report.
And best of all, payed a meagre sum of money for all the hours spend and the strain on your eyes.

alot of beta tester not paid... like the Counter strike beta testing in the early days... all free one...

no there are realy game tester jobs. But as dotaro said, the pay is bad. It's more for interest and if you want to use the chance to get a foot into the industry

beta tester is not the same as being a paid game tester. you can jsut join beta testing for some games by signing up. game tester can be a job.

oh game testing jobs.. i was in one before and like what sbd has said, it was very boring.

don't know, maybe should ask a professor who conduct research in game area.

What do you mean by other gaming jobs? Games designer? Programmer? Artist? So far, play tester is the only job that doesn't really require any qualifications... but if you know programming.. it's a plus.
