hi all,
this few days suddenly gt the urge to buy PSP le... what's the price of PSP now r? and there's a newer version of PSP rite?? PSP 3000?? what's the difference compare to the old 1??

PSP 3000 has better specs... louder sound, brighter screen etc etc... can skype also (I think).
not sure if it is modable at the moment.
PSP 2000 goes at about S$350, pre-modded, in JB, City Square, with the works (in terms of add-on), crystal case, slip on case, hard case, USB charger, screen protector, 8Gb card (may not be original), and all the games you can download wih an 8Gb card.

a friend paid slightly less, but without too many freebies and possibly no, or limited games.singapore shops are quite frightened of being raided, or those at sim lim will try to con you.

Oh. This question. Very frequently asked by my friends.
It's better to get PSP 1000/2000 (I own a 2000 myself) cos' you can modify and play *ahem* pirated/downloaded games from third-party sources. HOWEVER, if you don't plan to do that (which means you have to waste around 30 to 60 bucks on a UMD) you may get a PSP 3000 with much better graphics/sounds. But what's most important is that you look long-term. It is literally impossible to carry around 20 UMDs without getting them spoiled one day (maybe it is possible, but yeah, kinda exaggerated) and if you're like, a hardcore gamer, it is recommended to download games. Like you know the websites where you can download PSP games like PSP blender and etc, you need to pay the website (some are trustworthy, some are SO NOT) then you can download unlimited games for most websites. For me, sure I own a PSP, but I don't have the guts to try out the website thing. UMDs are best for me, if I can afford them.
The price of a PSP (I got it at FunZCenter in AMKHub, I think this is the shop name o.o) with the freebies and such was 400-500 when I got it. But yeah, PSP 3000 is out. So if you're getting PSP 2000, I think the price has gone down. But if you're getting PSP 3000, it's pretty much sadded (to me).
Chin Eng, with regards to one of your posts, PSP 3000 is non-modifiable according to what I heard. I'm not really sure now. Ignore this if you already knew.

wa... now still so expensive ah..... i thgt around 200+ to 300 can get 1 PSP liaoz sia...
wanna ask another qns also... will it be very laggy to use a 8GB memory stick???

200-300 can but only second hand unless u want those cannot be modded one.
