FAQ for WII?

  Interested to get a WII console package but doesnt know a bit bout WII. Anyone can post up a FAQ for WII consoles and games? Or pm me about it. Ive got no idea how the console or games or controller or regions and stuffs works. Most importantly how the "user's wallet friendly" way works too. Please do help. =DD

  From the very old topic provide by a very kind soul. i think i got an idea of it. So, most rec thing to do is to get a jap/asian version WII. and mod it to play pirated games. if dont wanna mod it.. then gett freeeloader so as to at least be able to play region freely for most games? for pirated games?.. er.. have to get from shops or can download myself?... have to burn into dvds?.. or using the SD card?.... and for the pricing.. simple package with wiimote and nunchunk? its around 400. mod or not?.. im not sure.. so any kind soul can advice?.. =D

    If you have budget problem then get it mod , but once you mod it , you have to be very carefull once you mod it because any upgrade in the software will may your modding , and as for original , i heard that there is a latest version or software for wii that disable the freeloader function which means you can't use the freeloader disc once you upgrade to latest software version . As for pirated games i would recomend to get from shops instead of download to play it safe . I ever saw that they sell pirated wii games in disc form , but i don't know the pricing . For jap set modded with wiimopte n nunchuck i think is ard $400+ . For asian set think is more then that . So last but not least i would encourage pple to get original set to prevent any possible problems .
