The main purpose is for easy travelling between Ave 2 and Buangkok Green. The rest of the route, already have a lot of buses. 325 already winding here and there liao, still want to extend. -

SBST to introduce temporary feeder bus routes on Christmas eve. ( 25 Dec early morning ). 2 or 3 time slot per service, using feeder bus rate, concession card can be used. Towns include AMK, Pasir Ris, Serangoon, Clementi, Hougang, Kovan, Sengkang, Punggol, Bedok, Tampines and more. Bus svc. numbers are named as the corresponding MRT station numbers, eg. for AMK, the feeder bus svc. will be named as NS16 and HG will be NE14.

SMRT Launches Free Chinatown Shuttle Service
and Extends Train & Bus Services for Chinese New Year
Visitors to Chinatown this New Year will have more travel options, as SMRT will be launching a free shuttle service from Friday, 28 January to Tuesday, 8 February to serve commuters shopping in the area.
The service, which runs at 15-minute intervals, will ply South Bridge Road, Maxwell Road (Tanjong Pagar MRT station), Robinson Road, D'Almedia Street (Raffles Place MRT station), Malacca Street, Chulia Street, South Canal Road and North Canal Road (Refer to Annex & map). The details of the schedule are:
· 28 January to 3 February: 7.00 pm – 11.30 pm
· 4 to 7 February: 7.00 pm – 12.30 am
· 8 February: 7.00 pm – 1.30 am
In addition, SMRTÂ’s seven NightRider services will be extended to ply South Bridge Road / Eu Tong Sen Street via Cantonment Road from 4 to 7 February.
For the first time, SMRTÂ’s train and bus service extensions will commence on 4 February, four days prior to Chinese New Year Eve. Train services will be extended beyond 1.00 am from 4 to 7 February, and beyond 2.00 am on 8 February.
4 to 7 February
· Last train from Outram Park Station departs at 1.12 am (Eastbound and Westbound)
· Last train from Dhoby Ghaut Station departs at 1.12 am (Northbound) and 1.03 am (Southbound)
8 February
· Last train from Outram Park Station departs at 2.12 am (Eastbound and Westbound)
· Last train from Dhoby Ghaut Station departs at 2.12 am (Northbound) and 2.03 am (Southbound)
Operating hours of the Bukit Panjang LRT and selected feeder services at Bukit Batok, Choa Chu Kang, Woodlands and Yishun interchanges will be extended to match the last train timings. Details will be announced by Transit Link Pte Ltd shortly.

BUS SERVICE
To Singapore River HongBao - Extension of operating hours and introduction of shortworking trips for CityBuzz Service C1
To make it easier for the public to make their way to and from the River Hongbao, shortworking trips will be introduced on CityBuzz Service C1 to operate between Marina Centre and North Bridge Road (City Hall Station). The operating hours will also be extended from 10.10 pm to 12.00 midnight for the period from 7 to 23 February 2005.
All the CityBuzz services, C1, C2 and C3, call at Marina Promenade, opposite Oriental Hotel and provide door-to-door services for those going to the Singapore River HongBao. These services also make travelling within the city area more convenient. For example, Service C 1 facilitates the visiting public to travel between Singapore River HongBao and Great World City / Orchard corridor; Service C2 between Singapore River HongBao and the Chinese New Year Bazaar in Chinatown; Service C3 between Singapore River HongBao and Bugis Village.
To Chinatown Chinese New Year Bazaar – Extension of operating hours for Chinatown Direct services CT 8, CT 18 and CT 28
The operating hours of the three Chinatown Direct services will be extended to midnight for the period between 29 January to
7 February 2005 as follows:
Date: 29 Jan - 7 Feb 2005
To Chinatown : 10am - 9pm
From Chinatown : 11am - 12 midnight
The three Chinatown Direct services provide connections to Chinatown from Ang Mo Kio, Bedok and Clementi.
RAIL SERVICE
Extension of operating hours for North East Line as well as Sengkang and Punggol LRT
North East Line train service will be extended between 4 to 7 February 2005. The last train will depart at Chinatown Station at 1.00 am for both directions to Punggol and Harbour Front.
The operating hours for Sengkang and Punggol LRT will also be extended for the same period between 4 to 7 February 2005. The last train will leave the Town Centre stations at 1.31 am and 1.33 am at Sengkang and Punggol respectively.
