The new B8L new Wright body demonstrator will go to SBSt and eventually posted to SEDEP once the new package commerce when it got registered. Just saying.
Hopefully another 100 B8L,100 A95 Euro6 and 100 Enviro500 Euro6 plus a batch of Euro6 A22 with 280hp/1250nm
Just need to wait for the retirement of Tridents and VSOs.

Volvo D8k Euro 6 engine
In-line 6 , twin turbocharged , 7.7L Common rail injection ,
280Bhp(1050Nm) / 320bhp(1200nm) / 350bhp (1400nm)
Which horsepower output you all think LTA-Sbs will choose ?
I think it's the 320bhp one.
The D8K engine has only one turbocharger, but it is a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT). It also has a SCR exhaust aftertreatment system that requires AdBlue, an oxidising catalytic converter (DOC) and a diesel particulate filter (DPF). High pressure common rail injection is used. The engine is a Nissan / UD design and has better NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) characteristics than the D7E and D9B.
For three-axle buses, I would think that the 350 hp / 1400 Nm rating would be chosen in order to ensure good driveability.

Hope is the 350hp

SBS Transit
Demonstrator units will always go to SBSt no doubt as it is a establishment brand in SG bus industry.

Same engine as the Transdev B8RLEs doing the Perth CAT shuttles?
Anyway, UD no longer builds buses. If they still wanna sell buses, they'll have to rebadge Volvo ones for sale.

Yes, same engine as the Perth B8RLE/B8RLEAs, although the selected power output rating is yet to be determined.
UD now belongs to the Volvo Group.
Streetdeck isn't the same as a WEG3.
Streetdeck for Daimler, and WEG3 for Volvo.

Streetdeck is essentially a Merc DD?

The only Merc thing about the Streetdeck is its 228bhp engine, everything else is designed and built by Wrightbus.

I am hoping that MB will produce Citaro DD with two and three axles in future. They should compete with MAN (A95),Volvo (B8L) & ADL (E500) for the DD segment.

Lower deck interior seems to be the same configuration as A95...
