Because some of our bus routes in AMDEP have went to SBS Transit's SEDEP. Plenty of excess bendies, some of whom will be transferred out.

1608B still has Daikin ad intact.. They probably won't transfer it unless the ad contract has really ended..
SG5582S
WL 951E >> WL 964
SG5814Z will do Sv951E PM Peak last trip instead.. Probably for the Cabin Screen trial..

5582S on 960 jz nw. I think 5814Z will do last AM n PM peak. U got any idea where all the 951E go to aft ending at shenton way? Suspect all if not most will do 960. 5582S i think do AM also
So far I only observe only 1 out of the 6 morning duties will do Sv960..
The others will just OS back to WLDEP and end shift.. And probably come out under another shift (Sv960/962/964 etc)..

I hope this takes place soon, especially the AMDEP old bendies. Those B1 that were extended since last year I hope they gets lay up soon.
Any idea when is LTA getting next batch of E6 double decks?

dun think the balance bendies will retire anytime soon. most should be getting extension due to the fact that the E6 DD are not here yet.
tender closed in Feb and usually, they will take 3-6 months to evaluate and award.the contract.. so if they award in May....the earliest the DDs will come should be in Sept? 2-3 months to source/produce + shipment?
I feel its better to get all three brands..Its proven.
MAN ND323F Euro 6
Volvo B8L Euro 6
ADL Enviro500 Euro 6
If possible 40 more MAN NG363F Euro 6
I guess the old bendies like O405Gs will likely be extended for another 6 months to a year if no new euro 6 DDs or bendies coming in this year.
Bendies are quite useful in certain ways. Its just that some people just dislike it.

There are indeed useful for short distance service like feeders and height restriction routes.Only thing O405Gs are non WAB.

That's probably why the feeders in CCK and Woodlands are using bendies still. While the trunk routes are using mostly DDs. I remember there is someone whom also feedback to SMRT to deploy DDs on 913 too improve WAB quota.
Yishun feeders back then were also using bendies too. It is the Seletar package that screwed up everything.
Seems that the 10 a24s that went to SBS just enough for yishun feeders. 800,804,806 and 807. Townlinks 811 and 812 are enough with DDs even the former still deploy bendies at times. But service 851 has a fleet downgrade as less choices of models to deploy as compared to Smrt/ Tibs era.
More A22s for 851 instead. Lesser A22s for 851 during smrt times.

913 with DD is really no go. The first 4 stop east side already parallel with more than 5 svc then got 964. Woodlands circle only 3 stops inside wich can tank bendies and imagine if 964 DD n 913 DD all cramp together at admiralty mrt. the dwell time is very long.
We will see in time after those O405Gs retired
