I hope only Euro V KUBs will get LG with Scania badge intact.

I think SBST will be the first operator to spray the A24 to LG.

Some updates:
Someone previously said CDGEs to be repainted. Then, a CDGE was spotted undergoing works in Tuas, fuelling speculation that the repainting had started.
This has since been confirmed not the case as of now. It’s just mid life refurbishment, swapping out older interior parts for new but identical looking parts. According to online postings, a handful of BNDEP CDGEs have been refurbished and have a new bus smell.

I wonder why they don't want to give the CDGEs a complete makeover (the interior at least) since they are already changing most of the older parts out anyway. Personally I feel that they might as well change the colour scheme and/or the seats because the design looks really outdated for such a modern looking bus :( If they could change it to look more like the WEG2 counterparts (eg the beige and purple colour plus red and yellow seats), the bus would have a "fresher" feel to it and it could then serve the remainder of its lifespan usefully haha

They better time the engine first ah haha.. many of them rly fking noisy
There is something call budget also..Since LTA already buy those old buses(Minus the lifespan),Its wiser to just refurb the interior and just touch up the exterior.Furthermore its Euro3 engine..
No point requisitioning the CDGEs. Ideally, all BCM fleets should be Euro IV and above. SBST can retain ownership of the older vehicles until their statutory lifespan is up.

I would rather set LG to be Euro V and above.
Let the Euro IV Scanias retired by 2021.
