Hi friends, I have created a new thread on MAN double-decker bus, as the original thread has reached the limit of 2000 posts. Let's continue here.
Latest bus registered: SG5818M and deployed to Service 806
I really hope that A95 wasn't exclusive to SMRT only.

What's the point of TT getting A95s when they still have DDs under Storage..
Finally theres one man a95 going to sbst and more to come as seletar package effect date getting near. I think lta had make it compulsory to take this model as seletar package involes yishun feeders, intratowns n services 851 and 852 besides amk plus yck services.

With SBST operating svc 851 & 852,There is no SMRT svc at a few stretches along Thomson Rd .....So much for monopoly
Part of Yishun,YCK,AMK,BIS & TPY is SBST territory...
Praying hard 5835M gets the SBST logo soon...
LTA should do this way for the 122 units
40 units for SMRT
50 units for SBST
16 units each for TTS & GAS
Those 48 SG A22 also ought to spread out.
SMRT:8
SBST:15
TTS:10
GAS:15

What about 167, 855 & 980?
That's why i'm hoping to see a different operator in Hougang other than the usual suspects. It would make lots of sense for the current Loyang franchisee to also take Hougang.Originally posted by carbikebus:Part of Yishun,YCK,AMK,BIS & TPY is SBST territory...

It's okay. SMRT had not been doing those stretches of Thomson Road any justice anyway. Good riddance.
122 MAN A95 FL mainly for SMRT and SBST. TT and GA hav enough DDs should be as the former have some of their B9TLs in LTA storage.
As for the A22s. SBST will be more likely to received SG plated ones in SMALL numbers provided there is not enough citaros supplied to them. TT should have enough SDs already i suppose and GA will only more likely to receive BSEP A22s in very small numbers if they need SD fleet additions as supply of citaro will be limited then. If they are keen to.
