I got a feeling LTA will buy a few bendies for some feeder service.

Why not DDs though? Height restrictions?

Short distance trunk all useless using DDs...Wasting resource wheb you see all pax standing at the lower deck cause they take it for a few stops only.Feeders/Intratowns/Townlinks like 240,334,811,812 all justified use DDs due to their distance.
Look at svc 800,Even peak hours fewer than 5 pax sitting at upper deck..

225 bo bian because of the higher loadings especially on peak hours..Later give more SDs and high frequency will also jammed up the whole interchange given its turnaround time.If Bedok North have bendies currently im sure 225 is the potential..222 is fine with DDs.

As a resident who lived along 225g/w Road I can say that the Peak hour frequency is manageable with buses coming between 2 to 3 mins apart. The bus in front would be 2 to 3 stops away from the bus behind already. So increasing the frequency is possible but due to Bedok North Street St 3 being a silver zone bendys would be kinda hard to manure through the street. Plus if bendys come to 225 where the hell would they place at? 854 slot.? No way 854 already don't have space for 3 bendys back to back.

You won’t know LTA capable of..

Bidadari is a really small estate. Bendies would do well. The route would be shorter than 225G/W and 803.
218G/W
Bidadari Interchange >> Upper Serangoon Road >> Bartley Road >> Bidadari Park Dr .>> Upper Serangoon Road >> Bidadari Interchange
* You can see for yourself that the route is extremely short. I would prefer if Mount Vernon Dr is expanded and the bus can even connect to Bartley MRT. In that case the route would look like:
Bidadari Interchange >> Bidadari Park Dr >> Bartley Road >> Mount Vernon Dr >> Alkaff Crescent >> Bidadari Park Dr >> Upper Serangoon Road >> Bidadari Interchange
* All the more reason to have bendies, given that it will connect to two MRT stations with only 3-4 stops in between the two MRT stations. Hence, for this route DD would prove better than SDs.

800/812 don't even need DDs/bendies anymore. Can be managed with full fleet SD or just have 1-2 DDs to coincide with school timings.

225G/W doing excellent with DDs. Upper deck full during peak hours. Even if people alight from 2nd stop, it at least takes 10 minutes for the bus to get there given the traffic lights and in general traffic. Bendies is a no-go for 225G/W.

I would say 21X series or since it comes under Toa Payoh maybe 236G/W?
Since 68 using berth B7 at Pasir Ris, which berth is 518/518A using?

Cannot say short distance trunk all useless using DDs. 179 is a good example where buses are full on both decks during peak hours despite full DD fleet and frequency of 2-3 minutes
Nevertheless it is irritating to see most pax standing at the lower deck even if the upper deck is empty. One common example is svc 21 & 60 from Eunos to Bedok Reservoir Rd. It is especially frustruating when you can't go up to the upper deck or even board the bus just because of the crowds on the lower deck. Why people are so lazy to walk up a flight of stairs?

Yes, 225G/W deserves to have DDs because of high demand. 137 also gets full between Bedok North St 3 and Bedok North MRT during peak hours, but so far 137 only has SDs

I think they should. LTA should reconsider its anti-bendy stance as bendies are still particularly useful for heavily-utilized short-haul services and those with DD restrictions like services 16,24,27,33,53,105,121,131,195 that in my opinion would do fine with bendies, though bendy parking space in interchanges/terminals may be a concern. If possible, the excess remaining 0405Gs can be reshuffled to SBST to be deployed on these services for the remaining of their lifespan until LTA orders a new batch of bendies.

CGA cannot accommodated so many bendies. Basically u r left with 16, 33, 105, 121, 131, 195.
of these 195 already failed trial. 16 can use DDs. 33 where u need DDs? 105 high demand is supplemented with 106 and 52 along its route. 131 is supplemented by 141. 121 doesn't need DDs (relieves 195).

179 come out interchange already wasted 5-6 mins leh so justify use DDs.225 bo bian no bendies at Bndep.
I think some Service 160 (buses that do morning departures from JB), 170 (buses that do morning departures from JB) and 170X buses should do overnight parking at WLBP. Main repairs done in BBDEP.
Hope the future Marina South Integrated Transport Hub is integrated Marina South MRT Station and with a new bus depot (controlled by multiple bus operators) supporting buses serving:
- Marina Centre Ter (171, 195/A/B, 960, 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N, 6N, NR2, NR5, NR7, NR8)
- Lor 1 Geylang Ter (961/C, 980, 985)
- Kampong Bahru Ter (2/A, 12/e, CT8, CT18)
- Resorts World Sentosa (188R, 963R, NR1, NR6)
- South Bridge Rd (NR3)
- HarbourFront Int (188, 963/E)
- Shenton Way (513, 850E, 868, 951E, 971E, 982E)
- Queen St Ter (170/A)

By doing cross depot parking don’t you think will add more time for the poor BCs and the operator that have to fork up resources to provide transport?160,170 origin from Ulu Pandan,Then some duty park at Wlbp...Repairs then poor BCs have to travel to Bb?Siao liao like that.

Do you think the Govt will build a bus depot at those land?Marina South will be a new home for the rich and elites in future and you think they will agreed to that?
Pasir Panjang/Pulau Brani will be shifting to Tuas in future and maybe build a new depot is more appropriate.
