Originally posted by wsy1234:the Kampong Bahru terminal is ulu but the bus services at the terminal can provide useful for the people living nearby like Telok Blanhag crsent and rise where 272 feeder bus service is going around. maybe LTA should relook into one of the 12X service see whether can do any improvement over the service together with 272. the services could provide a faster link to the city and east compare to bukit merah interchange. example people taking to the terminal can transfer to 190 or 12 to city area faster than the one on bukit merah interchange.
Telok Blangah Way, which is within walking distance to Crescent/Rise has 124 as the quickest link to the city and 124 practically duplicates 190 from Kampong Bahru to Scotts Rd.
I see where you're coming from of wanting to have more 'intra-town' routes from Kampong Bahru but for this to be feasible, if the unused NE2 station along NEL is going to be built near the terminal, perhaps your suggestion of making changes to certain routes can be considered. For example, 121 can be converted to a bidirectional loop service 121A/121B. 121A plies the current 121 route but instead of looping at Telok Blangah Rise, it returns to Kampong Bahru terminal via Kampong Bahru road while 121B plies Kampong Bahru Rd to Telok Blangah then continues back using the original route. So instead of taking 121 from Tiong Bahru, taking 121 from Kampong Bahru can be an alternative and Telok Blangah residents will have options to go to either TB or KB via 121.
IMO Kampong Bahru terminal is meant to be more of a terminating point for long-haul routes rather than a typical bus interchange where you have feeders, townlinks...
Maybe SGH Shuttle can re-direct to Kampong Bahru Terminal
Route:
Spooner Road - Kampong Bahru Terminal
Eu Tong Sen St - Outram Park MRT NEL Entrance
Outram Road - Outram Park MRT EWL Entrance
Third Hospital Avenue - Dietary Clinic, SNEC
College Rd/Hospital Dr
Hospital Drive - SGH Block 3, National Cancer Centre, National Heart Centre
Hospital Drive
Spooner Road - Kampong Bahru Terminal

True, bro. Most of the NBR routes originate from the outer suburbs. For them to get extended further would be impractical. It isn't like there is a convenient terminus close by, as in the case of the old Crawford bus terminal, which had Geylang Fringe within walking distance.
Marina Centre Terminal will probably stay co-operated until majority of SMRT routes are not in their control.
After Bukit Merah Package probably stay co-oped

The most extend to HarbourFront Int, but it is about 2km away and there is too many duplicating routes. Same for Bukit Merah Int.
Would be interesting if they extended it to Beach Station Terminal though...

the things here is feeder bus service 272 which people enjoy fix rate for feeder bus. There is alot of old people living in the area which i think LTA should make it a better bus ride for them. no 121 A B C. a stright forword feeder bus service link two interchange or terminal is better. also not all the places 124 or 190 is the same.

You think of elderly going out at a fix rate but you didn't care for other full pay users? What more do they want? I'm not biased but think again this is public transport and govt already subsidised them more over the years..Only in SG where pax are so pampered at the extend of complaint of every single thing that don't go their way
How does one decide if suggestion is a feedback or a complaint?
Different person just have different style in writing.
Sad that a feedback would become a noise for some.
Changi Village need proper alighting berth,Boarding berth can shift forward near to food stall

Hi mr iamgoondu, LTA is very nice to elderly. Don’t worry. They will always have the elderly in their heart. They listened to feedbacks and introduce service 120 to link telok Blangah drive and telok blangah heights with telok blangah Mrt after receiving feedbacks that the walk to MRT is not conducive enough due to flats on higher ground. Some think it is within walking distance but LTA still goes ahead to implement service 120. Cheers. Thanks.
Tampines interchange berth 7 under going some construction works

It is for the short feeder service from Bidadari Interchange to Alkaff estate and back. Route said to be in G/W form.
