Believe this change with sv55 and sv155 first was also due to the side road of victoria sch being used for the TEL works.
sv135 may be shipped out soon just that they usually release 3 bus amendments at a time. Maybe 135 route is still under planning.
Bus service 134/135 will be extended to changi business terminal in future For the lta can't provide it to the area and lta is not considered to be
Now the thing is, which berth is svc 155 gonna use at Bedok Bus Int. Surely cant be the one that svc 25 is currently using ya
Will 853 be merge with 853C?
These are just my suspicions:
Service 135 is shortened to Geylang Lor 1 via Paya Lebar Rd, Geylang Rd, Geylang Lor 1.
Service 137 (Sims Pl < > Siglap Link)
Sims Pl > Merpati Estate > Paya Lebar MRT > follow 135's route to Siglap Link
Service 152 (Bedok < > Eunos)
Bedok > Chai Chee Estate > Siglap Rd > Marine Parade Rd > Still Rd > Jln Eunos > Ubi Av 3 > Paya Lebar Rd > Sims Ave > Eunos MRT.

I am so sorry . Where do you think Sv152 berth is going to be if this is really true ? Sv155 is a direct berth replacement for the out going Sv25 . So every single berth sloth is used up . However there is a berth that could be use - 30 /30e are separated queuing lanes . And I live in bedok and I know how Bedok works .
DEAR SMRT . PLS DEPLOY MORE DOUBLE DECKER BUS not BENDIES (Due to Bedok Interchange is notorious for lack of space even Sbs buses park close to Smrt buses making the smrt buses hard to come out ) AFTER 9 APRIL. OR JUST FK IT UP LIKE ALWAYS .
SINCERELY, A PERSON WHO USE 854 TO GO TO YISHUN AREA FOR WORK .

I don't think the 30 and 30e queues would be joined tgt. And I dont think they should too.
in my opinion I would make 152 start frm Compassvale to MP via Sv 15 route twds MP (?) and accept DDs for 15
in addition, I feel like 38 will move to last berth while 155 goes to B7

Good. Could have been extended to key catchments south of Punggol too.

could be better if some downroutes for 118B from Temasek Poly could be slotted as normally 118 would become full by Temasek Poly

Hi mr hgdep103, actually if everybody did notice, the timings for 118A and 118B are only for half hour each for peak timing. So it is not going to be a big help. Think it is introduced more as a reaction to the heavy usage of TPE by many cars and traffic condition of TPE. Cheers. Thanks.

The downroute timing is 5-530pm mainly aimed at ITE/ Temasek students IMO as by then the industrial estate along Simei and Changi Business Park workers would not have left work.

there was once i took 118 about 5.15-5.45 (iirc) from xilin ave and it was full alr

Must be more towards 545pm or bus must be delayed. 118 peak for CBP is 530-645pm. All buses in this time period go full. 118B just hits in before this peak time period to cover for ITE/Temasek.

I don't think this press release is very much relevant to the core of the topics discussed in this thread, which actually also includes extension of bus services to serve new areas not as part of their original route (as per what you posted about the extensions of 25, 55 and 155) and opinions about areas served. Mere amendments due to roadworks/re-alignments do not signifcantly impact the areas served. I guess it might be a mistake of fact because I had also posted the new services 118A/118B press release earlier on.

I also shared the same perception at the first instance...at the press release thread:)

I agree with your statment. It seems that there are quite a lot of high capacity deployed on 854 lately, of which majority of them are DDs.
Hope to see the number of old bendies reduce further (though there are not so many of them running during off peak period nowadays).
For the single decks, some of the OC500LEs seems to be randomly replaced by those "SBST" buses lately too.

There seems to be a surge in demand for buses at Kakit Bukit, Ubi and Loyang, that warrants temporary bus routes before Downtown Line opens.
