Heh heh heh. It just seems pathetic to me when I have already listed the points and yet it can't be understood even with proper English.

About this 248 along Tuas South Ave 12 part, wondering how is it gonna make a "u-turn" back Tuas South Ave 5?

probably at the end of the road, but they dont want to show overlapping on map to prevent confusion

There is no need for that.
Onces the loading drops significantly, LTA will know that this route amendment is the wrong move, and undo the change.
Because actions speak louder than words.
There is no need to write anything, or do anything.
The loading will speak for itself.
Just wondering, what if this is an indication that they will merge 258 into 180?
180 can absorb 258, to become a Joo Koon to Bukit Panjang bus route.
258 from Joo Koon Bus Interchange to Jurong West Street 64 (via the new route) is 8.5 kilometres.
180 from Jurong West Street 64 to Petir Road is 10.1 kilometres.
If combined, the merged route would be 18.6 kilometres from Joo Koon to Bukit Panjang, and 18.1 kilometres from Bukit Panjang to Joo Koon.
Btw guys just to clarify, the new services start frm the new or the current tuas ter?
Originally posted by CZT:Btw guys just to clarify, the new services start frm the new or the current tuas ter?
Should be the current one. Because the new terminal is at Tuas Link 4, but the new routes originate from Tuas West Drive.

Hi mr CZT, current. They specific somewhere which I read. The new one will be operational in the later part of the year 2017. Cheers. Thanks.
Originally posted by gekpohboy:Honestly, whoever initiated the change is very irresponsible.
A lot of people use 258 to connect to their buses at Joo Koon Bus Interchange. Making 258 ply a longer route would result in longer travel times and longer transport fares.
Furthermore, people are so used to taking 258 to and from Boon Lay Bus Interchange.
Removing 258 from Boon Lay Bus Interchange would cause many people to miss their stop, when they are going to Boon Lay Bus Interchange.
It is also going to bring back the problem of high loading on bus services 181 and 243 during peak hours, which was resolved when 258 was introduced.
It's not as if people take 258 to Joo Koon and transfer to 256 to get to Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim.
Why can't they just leave 258 alone?
They could have just amended 192 to ply Jurong West Street 62, Pioneer Road North and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim.
There is no need to touch 258.
Whoever initiated this change should have known the commuters on 258 better.
I doubt that LTA had consulted the MPs and RCs about this.
Lol, if you so 看开 about 258 being removed, then next time you wait for 258 along the bus stop outside Boon Lay mrt lo..since you seem to hate waiting for 243/181 so much

Hi mr sgxiaobusguy, 256 is removed. Not 258. Cheers. Thanks.

From Boon Lay Interchange, I meant.
If 256 and 258 are removed from Boon Lay Interchange, does that mean Boon Lay Interchange has room for new routes?
I would be looking forward to that!

21x and 36x also fallen into disuse.
I was hoping for express service instead of many of those redundant short trunks..
Something like from East to West,North to West,North to Northeast..Doesnt necessary to go CBD..

Wasn't there speculations of an express service from Compassvale to the city/west area going to be introduced sometime back here? So there could be a possibility that the new compassvale service might be an express service?
