Land issues as always la dey..What to do?Suck thumb only lor.My friends driving 67 say sometimes will take just bloody 9mins to exit CCK Int during peak hours..

Tampines Concourse int might be expanded to be used as a temporary interchange for the current Tampines int after DTL construction is completed, for a new integrated development.

Compassvale i wont think it would be demolish since Sengkang Int is too small.
Bidadari will be under Kim Chuan.
It won't. Because there are too many services in the current Tampines interchange. And the interchange has no expansion since 1988. Unless LTA decides to double the size of the old interchange.

Ok,Then Tampines North i think will have only 6-7 svc max

It's not any better at Tampines.
Wondering if there could be some new bus services that links Compssvale Interchange - Buangkok MRT - Buangkok Crescent? Doesn't make sense to have only 101 serving it, to the 2nd nearest MRT actually. furthermore, many BTO developments foreseen to be ready by 2017/2018 as well. Does anyone have any insights on this?
Alternatively, amending 43M such that it serves Buangkok Drive/Crescent as well could be a viable solution to this. Just a food for thought.

See route suggestions
Few weeks ago, there was a training bus at Compassvale Bus Interchange, apparently preparing for a new bus route.
It was a double decker.

By the way, it may not necessarily be 500, or a express bus to the city. It could be a new service that is projected to have very high demand, that is providing connections currently provided by other bus services, or North East Line.
New svc aside,I feel svc 163/M also will move there.

156/159 better to move there. 163 is Punggol Rd feeder.

Operating Compassvale with only 1 service is such a "waste". They could have launched 374 from Sengkang Interchange itself until more routes were ready to be launched.

Wao Lao eh. LTA introduces new service. Their objective is to have new service launch in conjunction with the opening of compassvale interchange which many Sengkang residents have complained to their MP for the delay.
Don't open compassvale int -people complain.
Open compassvale int with 1 new service -people also complain.
Really don't know what Singaporeans want.
Open or don't open also cannot please people.
I believe Compassvale will have 2 svc from Sengkang Int move there as well as a new svc.

In my personal view, there seems to be some merit on the ground of displeasure against the fact that Compassvale Interchange only have one service at the time of opening; it could be a sign of under-utilisation at first instance (of course there are bound to be new services in the future, but whether it makes sense to call it an "interchange" when there is only one service is something that needs to be addressed separately).
All in all, the main issue is whether there is merit in grounds for such complaints; for example, if they don't want to open Compassvale Interchange, why bother building it in the first place? (This is a very straightforward point which can be easily detected)

Hi mr Gus.chong, it makes sense to call it an interchange because it is linked to the current Sengkang interchange by an overhead bridge or a traffic light. It is merely 30 metres away. It is not a few hundred metres away. So the worries are totally unfounded. Cheers. Thanks.

I agree. They should have built a covered walkway from Compassvale Bus Interchange to Sengkang Bus Interchange, or at least make 374 call at that bus stop opposite Sengkang MRT station (Blk 260A) on the way back to Compassvale Bus Interchange. Walking from Compassvale Bus Interchange to Sengkang MRT station is so inconvenient, especially when it rains. Furthermore, the area around the traffic light got people smoking; not good for health.
