Now the current generation of bus lobbyists are lobbying day in day out for thousands of A22s and A95s, and whining about the Citaros and B9TLs on the roads.
The next generation of bus lobbyists by 2020 is going start lobbying day in day out for their very own shopping list, and whine about thousands of three-door A22s and A95s on the roads.
And please do not complain when you start paying $2 minimum bus fare next year to fund all of your adventures, and eventually $4.10 by 2020. Capital cost has got to come from somewhere...
I think it's only that "generation", which is around ten years ago (2007).
Since when do we have the "next generation"?
...
Anyway, the authorities have the right to block the people who spam their mail boxes, or whatever social media platform that they have.
The reason is simple. If people keep disturbing the authorities, how are the authorities going to do their work?
It's okay to feedback, but please have a sense of propriety.

Now want to increase 20 cents people cry father cry mother already. Govt also handling out transport subsidies to certain group of people currently. Please do not try to frighten people off unnecessarily. Cheers. Thanks.
There's a 30% water price hike by next year. And every bus trip carries a minimum $0.55 subsidy (including feeder transfers) from the Government.

I'm tired of ppl saying a bus is just a bus. We're not saying we can't live without it. But if there is an OPTION for it i.e. stop buying SBST spec and start buying more A95 etc, then we shouldn't use the excuse of settling for the lesser by comparing with the minimal.
Besides by your logic, why are we even procuring European bus models? Won't PRC buses do the job too? Or better still, bangla buses without aircon and has bamboo seats? Bus what.
Your complaint will automatically go away when LTA retrofits every B9TL with this:
But keep in mind, this particular city pays $2.78 (230 yen) per bus trip.

Hi mr sgbuses, finally you hit the right point. I am not against price hikes. I am against the super huge increase in price hikes.
Water 30% price hikes after 15-18 years.
Thus bus fares not possible to increase 300% after 3 yrs. Too much.
I am not adverse to bus fares hikes of 50 cents to 1 dollar (60% to 80%) more to current rates. But certainly not 300% more with fares starting minimum $4.10. Cheers. Thanks.

Yes, around there. $2.55 for Osaka and Tokyo. $2.78 for Kyoto.

by comparison, ours is only $1.40; half of what they paid.
Their salary also different from us leh,Their bus driver earns 3x more than ours though the cost of living is high.
Amidst all of these theatrics, PIS and USB ports are ultimately just bells and whistles.
Perhaps we should have the bus version of Maslow's Hierachy of Needs.
From bottom to top: Safe buses, buses that bring to to your destination, buses that are comfortable and dont make you sweat buckets, buses that bring you to your destination very quickly and buses with extra features such as PIS and USB chargers.

Are they fully assembled?
LTA and SMRT seem not hurry to let the 15 batch e500s on the road as more MAN A95 facelifts started to enter service recently. Morever almost all a95 fl are fully assembled. Only when more older bendy buses retire then we are more likely to see these new enviros on the road i guess

Yup, saw them near the entrance/exit ...
I believe there will be another orders.
Even if there will be future orders of e500 then the facelift version wil be reproduced. HK bus operators are again on massive purchase of this model.
