Nice suggestion. All the unpainted B9TLs are KLJ based. Btw n also even if GAS agrees to take a small number of A22, more likely LTA will give those from the bsep fleet just like how TT received from smrt. SG A22s are less or not likely at all as the SG plated ones the initial orders done by SMRT then LTA foot the bill as BCM just kicked in last year if I m not wrong.

I don't think that would happen even in 5 years time.
Afterall they are the direct fleet replacements for the retired O405s.
Its just all about cost issue. If MAN A22 comes to GA not only benefit drivers including yourself but also for regular commuters in Pasir Ris and Punggol too. Punggol residents might hav commuted a22 only along tpe to services like 858,965 and 969. As for pasir residents totally none except maybe night outers at weekends commute them by NR7.

First of all its depend on LTA and lastly if GAS ang moh technical manager want it or not.Unless its three door A22 & A95L bought by LTA to spread around.

SG58xx to SG59xx..for A95 facelift..LTA ordered 122 of them.
For now I assume that all batch 3 a95 are for SMRT buses. TTS and GAS maybe but for SBST its out of reach as they are unkeen n might not know how to maintain MAN buses. Even Singapore Johor Express bus services can do better since they first purchased MAN buses 3 decades ago.

i can tell you that 99.9999% of the commuter does not care what buses they take...
they only wan reliable buses services that come on time and that they can board and reach their destination safely.....
they also wont care about what types of the doors that the buses used, or what type of side mirror etc...

I always think that daily essential commuting public buses or trains is just like having a meal. A new model roaming around n commute them is a bonus just like tasting a new dish. And feeling fresh too. @lemon1974, 99.999 per cent dont care? U must be kidding. But i believe a minority doesnt care but its normal.

a minority dun care? you must be kidding also.. 3.8 million paxes took buses everyday.. so only a minority dun care about the bus types? all are concern about whether the buses have USB port/PIS or other features? to 99.9999% of the pax, a bus is a bus...
most of the paxes just wan the buses/trains to come on time and can board... so if the buses/trains that come does not have PIS, you dun board? or the bus come is old non-wab bus, you also dun board? maybe if you are a studend and have plenty of time after school, you can do that. but if you are working and rushing to work/going home, you will just be happy to be able to board the first bus/train that come...

You're taking things to the extreme. Nobody said that ppl will purposely avoid buses without a PIS or USB charging. But ppl will certainly appreciate it when they have these things.
I'm tired of ppl saying a bus is just a bus. We're not saying we can't live without it. But if there is an OPTION for it i.e. stop buying SBST spec and start buying more A95 etc, then we shouldn't use the excuse of settling for the lesser by comparing with the minimal.
Besides by your logic, why are we even procuring European bus models? Won't PRC buses do the job too? Or better still, bangla buses without aircon and has bamboo seats? Bus what.
