Originally posted by Formususeonly:Why is 963 under amdep when wldep controlling it previously was doing fine ? Now amdep has all control of Yishun, Bukit timah , Bukit merah (not to sure) Bus services and some Woodlands srvices too ? I know amdep share load with Lydep but woodland has 2 depots leh . Very big can accommodate lots of services .
Due to bus contracting model. SMRT recently reshuffled all the bus services according to their packages, 963 is one of the services that fall under Sembawang-Yishun package (which is mainly handled by AMDEP but the buses may park elsewhere).
Basically WLDEP now take charge of only the few services under Woodlands package.
This is also the reason why 67 do not have anymore B2 A95s (assuming 67 went under full KJDEP).
Originally posted by Formususeonly:Anyone saw A95 on sv854 today / this week ? I only saw lots of Bendies and Enviro 500 . And why is wldep using sg574X on 963 last few days ? This bus is suppose to be under lydep /amdep, so where does wldep come in ? Don't tell me all a95 shift to wldep liao .
Spotted at least 2 A95s in the late evening peak (1 lush green, 1 pixel), and 2 other Enviros.
Ever since the BCM depot redeployment took place, I have seen 854 high capacity fleet getting into another big mess once again.
For me, I dun mind having some Enviros on 854. But having the regular A95s replace with old bendies is definitely a no-go for me.
I just spotted 1 old bendy on 854 around 10pm plus which I think is not supposed to be there (normally 100% WAB fleet expected at this hour).

854 fleet should be 8 E500/8 A95/6 O405G and 7 OC or Citaro since their timings also not that rushing..As a matter of fact low floor capacity is almost the same as Low entry in Singapore context,I seldom see ppl stand at the rear of low entry buses.
